"My work is a deeply considered, authorial vision of selected aspects of reality. It speaks to tenderness, dedication, and interest in another human being, particularly the love of a mother for her child. Intrigued by the experience of motherhood, I observe poses and situations to create my own compositions based on them. Thus, using intuition and imagination—by replicating the poses and movements of one or two figures—I compose sculptures with a focus on formal elements. The choice of appropriate materials for developing sculptural and drawing forms is very important to me. Each type of material has its own characteristics, and the properties of the material influence the shaping process, which in turn affects the formal solutions. Therefore, when undertaking my sculptural experiments, I feel the need to experiment. I seek a plastic form by combining various materials and engage in work through adding and subtracting, combining—tearing, cutting, gluing, breaking, sanding, and drawing."
