Born on July 7, 1987, in Rzeszów, he is a furniture designer and a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and the National College of Art and Design in Dublin. On a daily basis, he designs furniture and interior furnishings for industrial and small-batch production. Additionally, he collaborates with creative agencies and cultural institutions on exhibition design projects. His work in industrial design has been showcased at international trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry events, from Berlin, Milan, and London to New York, Hong Kong, and Japan.
The artist's works are distinguished by irregular, colorful shapes on large formats. In his art, Szpunar experiments with geometry, painting his figures using acrylic paint on canvas and paper. He has developed his own technique of painting large circular forms, which he designed himself. When engaging with his art, one encounters works executed with remarkable precision. Upon close inspection, one can often notice the texture of the paint, which stands out from the canvas.
